No. This is not a cracking tool. It only works when you already know the correct password — it uses that password to open the file and then saves an unprotected copy.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Decryption is done locally in your browser with the pdf-lib library, so your document and password never leave your device.
It says the password is wrong — what now?
Double-check the password for typos and case. Some PDFs use restrictive encryption that pdf-lib can't open even with the right password; in that case the file can't be unlocked here.
