How do I remove VAT from a gross price?
Divide the gross amount by 1 plus the VAT rate as a decimal. For example, at 20% VAT the net is gross ÷ 1.20, and the VAT is the difference. The tool does this for you in Remove VAT mode.
What VAT rate should I use?
Use the rate that applies in your country or to your product — for example 20% in the UK or 5% in the UAE. You can enter any rate.
