No. Decoding happens entirely on your device using your browser. No frames or files are sent to any server.
Why won't my camera start?
The browser needs camera permission and a secure (HTTPS) connection. If access is blocked or no camera exists, upload a photo of the QR code instead.
What can a QR code contain?
Usually a URL, but also plain text, Wi-Fi credentials, contact cards or payment strings. This tool shows the raw text and offers an Open button when it detects a web link.
